A Prayer When It Looks Like You Have Failed
By Rev. Robert H. Schuller

Lord, are you trying to tell me something?

Failure doesn't mean I'm a failure.

It does mean I haven't yet succeeded.

Failure doesn't mean I have accomplished nothing.

It does mean I have learned something.

Failure doesn't mean I have been a fool.

It does mean I had enough faith to experiment.

Failure doesn't mean I've been disgraced.

It does mean I dared to try.

Failure doesn't mean I don't have it.

It does mean I have to do something in a different way.

Failure doesn't mean I am inferior.

It does mean I am not perfect.

Failure doesn't mean I've wasted my life.

It does mean I have an excuse to start over again.

Failure doesn't mean I should give up.

It does mean I must try harder.

Failure doesn't mean I'll never make it.

It does mean I need more patience.

Failure doesn't mean you have abandoned me.

It does mean you must have a better idea!

"Pain is a part of being alive, and we need to learn that. Pain does not last forever, nor is it necessarily unbeatable, and we need to be taught that."
- Harold Kushner -

"Nothing will ever be attempted, if all possible objections must first be overcome."
- Samuel Johnson -

"See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness."
- Hebrews 3:12 -

shopping, I hates shopping it takes to much time and even more of my time in the hours spent making the money to throw away on material things that will never stay in ones life. But yet it filled the space of a day,

no matter how much time I spend it seems as though I'm slipping further and further into a hole that I will never be able to climb out of. the house which I used to take so much pride in keeping clean is crying for some attention, but there is no motivation. The car which at one time was sparkly is like a dump there is no one who sees it but me, so why bother is my recent attitude. Something I really must work on.

Did he love me?
Does he Still?

strawberry wine
give me your time
and I'll be just fine
as I relearn how to climb

Dark is the world at this moment
Not because of sadness nor sorrow
the fullness of the moon
ushering in the morrow
Light is but a time away
Just because of the time of day
I shall soon approach
Because the storm clouds decided not to stay.

The sun peeks through the clouds, but only on occasion
the silence breaks the noise of reality
solitude is long gone
and constant contact is prevalent
I want to be locked away with my thoughts
I crave the silence and the solitude
Reality will not allow this

Beauty is the gift of God.
- Aristotle -
