An Iroquois tribe, also known as Conestoga, which lived on the Susquehanna River in New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. It is believed the last of this tribe was killed by whites in 1763. The name Susquehanna was given the river, a county, and a town; as was Conestoga to three places in Pennsylvania.
